With Storm Eunice wailing outside while I write this, I’m sure I’m not the only one hoping for a change in the weather. With evening’s getting lighter too, it’s no wonder I’m dreaming of summer… just like Olaf!
Yes, I was lucky enough to see Frozen in the West End this week. I’ve been waiting a long time (I originally had tickets for previews back in August) and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Everything comes together to produce a beautiful piece of theatre - the costumes, the set, the music, the performers. I loved it! But you know what I loved more? My bargain seat.
Listen up for a top ticket-buying tip. You can get £25 seats to Disney musicals with Disney Day Seats. All you need to do is sign up for a Disney account and visit the website on Mondays at midday. Yes it’s popular so you might have to try a few times, but the rewards are huge. This is the view from our seats at Frozen this week - seats that can be worth up to £150 each!
In other news this week, there was more news about the musical adaptation of The Time Traveller’s Wife. 2:22 a Ghost Story is staying the West End. And no, it’s not ironic - it seems Alanis Morrissette’s Jagged Little Pill is coming to the West End later this year.

We all know I’m a big fan of Mischief Theatre, and it all started with Play That Goes Wrong. It’s a show for everyone - I don’t know anyone who hasn’t enjoyed it. So treat yourself to 50% tickets in March and have a good laugh!

There’s also the Love Your Local Theatre campaign sponsored by the National Lottery. Get 2 for 1 tickets for shows all over the UK. Some theatres are already selling out though so book sooner rather than later.
There’s plenty of £15 tickets available for Death Drop, the drag murder mystery. Remember there’s lots of pillars at the Criterion so check Seat Plan for the view.
Groupon have £16.50 seats in the balcony for Only Fools and Horses. They’re high and they’re not the most comfortable but the view’s ok for the price.
