I hope you’re doing ok and haven’t melted in the heat yet! I’ll try and keep this short so you can get back to sitting in the fridge or whatever method you’re using to stay cool right now, but boy there’s a lot of good offers included in this week’s edition. You might also want to check out TodayTix’s list of air-conditioned theatres if you’re booking anything on Monday or Tuesday…
I have most certainly picked the best time to take a week off work. I’m currently at my parent’s place taking advantage of their seaside location. But I also popped to Chichester yesterday to check out Crazy for You at the Festival Theatre. It was my first time there and it’s such a lovely place. I’ll be doing some videos on social media soon reviewing their £10 seats!
Speaking of £10 seats, I lucked out with the National Theatre’s rush scheme on Tuesday and caught a preview of Much Ado About Nothing. It was so good, I had a right laugh from my seat just five rows from the stage! I’ll be doing lots of content about the Nash’s amazing £10 rush tickets soon so look out for those to save even more money.
Happy ticket-buying!

In the news this week…
I’m kind of a big deal
Any other Narnia fans in the house? I loved the series as a kid, and still watch the films pretty regularly! So of course I’m really excited for the new stage show of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to arrive in London next week, and Official London Theatre currently has up to 55% off tickets.
Tickets on this deal start from as little as £12.50! And the Gillian Lynne is one of those theatres where even the cheap seats are pretty good. The offer is only valid on performances in the first two weeks, so get in early and save some money.
Hey big spender
Here’s your discounts, offers and cheap seats this week.
Another weekly reminder - you can get FREE kids tickets to London shows, including Beauty and the Beast, Frozen and Wicked, when buying an adult ticket. Kids Week runs right through the summer if you struggle to keep the kids preoccupied in the school holidays!
The Yvonne Arnaud has released more advance tickets which are 50% off! It includes shows like Noughts and Crosses and The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel.
There’s £10 tickets for Lizard Boy at the Hope Mill in Manchester.
Another great Manchester offer - get £10 off tickets to Identical at The Lowry. Some seats are reduced to just £11 (plus fees) with this offer!
There’s £15 tickets to Millennials for the rest of this week. Use code AVO15.
Get £15 tickets for Bad Jews - these are front row stalls or circle slips but there’s less restricted seats for £25 too.
The Woman in Black is having a huge sale - there’s £15 tickets available in the upper circle but almost the entire theatre is reduced to £25, including the stalls which is the extra spooky place to sit.
All tickets are reduced to £16 for Yeast Nation until 3 Aug.
Only Fools and Horses has reduced its gallery seats to £18, but you can also get the front row of the stalls for just £11.90 (severely restricted view though).
Buckle up for a ton of £20 tickets! There’s £20 seats for The Drifters Girl, including in the stalls and dress circle.
Get £20 tickets for South Pacific at Sadler’s Wells.
There’s still lots of £20 tickets in the balcony for My Fair Lady.
There’s also those £20 seats for Anything Goes (and great £30 ones in the stalls!)
I’m finally seeing 101 Dalmatians tomorrow - I’ve waited two years for this! You can get tickets reduced to £25 for July performances.
There’s £25 tickets on sale for & Juliet - I’d go for the back of the dress circle.
Some great £25 seats have been reduced for my favourite show, Come From Away. If you haven’t already, you MUST see this before it closes.
The Great British Bake Off musical opens in Cheltenham this month and there’s £25 tickets available. Use code WOSBAKEOFF, valid 22-28 Jul.
I spotted that TKTS do some pretty good £32.50 seats for Dear Evan Hansen on the day. You can also try the rush seats for £30 if you’re trying to get a bargain before it closes.
Don’t throw away your shot
Competitions, on-sales and announcements.
I can’t believe another brilliant show has announced its closure. Life of Pi will be extending for the final time to 15 Jan 2023.
Only Fools and Horses has extended to 7 Jan 2023 and Hamilton is now booking until 4 Mar 2023.
A venue has been announced for the West End return of The Lehman Trilogy. It will open on 24 Jan at the Gillian Lynne. With it being a National Theatre production, it’s very likely you’ll be able to get £10 rush tickets when it opens but I’ll keep you updated!
The new Southwark Playhouse venue is opening soon and there’s free open days on 29 & 30 Jul. You can book tours on their website but be quick as they’re starting to sell out.
There’s a great Seat Plan competition right now to win £100 worth of theatre tokens.
Win a pair of tickets for The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
And finally win tickets to the Kinky Boots concert plus dinner.
