It’s been another busy one, but between rehearsals, production meetings and a quick trip to Stratford-upon-Avon, I managed to catch the original cast of Hadestown on stage in the West End. I was lucky enough to see them at the original National Theatre production several times, so I knew I had to do my time in the queue(s) and eventually got a ticket. It was my third trip in the West End and it just gets better and better. The music is stunning and the story is told beautifully. The original cast were as great as ever too.
It's a show I would recommend to anyone who loves jazz and epic stories. The short run with the original cast is sold out, but you can try for returns or enter the TodayTix lottery. Beyond that you can get rush tickets, or I'd recommend the side seats of the upper circle that are just under £40. It's the perfect balance between not paying through the roof and not sitting in it either!
Happy ticket-buying!

In the news this week…
I’m kind of a big deal
It's that time again… it's London Theatre Week! You can get amazing seats for West End shows from just £15. There's performances available across the next few months. Here's some of the best deals I found in the offer.
£15 tickets - The Great Gatsby, The Lightning Thief, Retrograde
£25 tickets - Mean Girls, Elektra
£35 tickets - Mamma Mia, Hamilton
I've already taken advantage of the deal and booked incredible seats for The Great Gatsby. They were reduced seats at £55 in the front of the dress circle, but I used my SeatPlan vouchers and got them for just £35 each! Don't forget you can stack these offers with the vouchers - you can save so much money.
You can book with many different agents - the deals are the same across them all. It is implied it will end on Sunday, but it has been known to extend further than just a week! Needless to say though, you'll get better seats if you book earlier.
